Everything exists for God and through Him according to Hebrews 2:10. Verse 11 says that He is the one who makes people holy and unites them together with Himself as one family. He does this because everything He has made is good, by His Word and through the power of prayer (1st Timothy 4:4-5).
1st Timothy 4:6 goes on to state, “If you put these things before the brothers, you will be a good servant of Christ Jesus, being trained in the words of the faith and of the good doctrine that you have followed.” (ESV).
It is by prayer that we submit these things and seek the unity that comes from the one who makes us holy. He sanctifies us by His Word and His Spirit. Let us pray for one another and remember that we are brothers and sisters together in Christ. God is at work to make us more and more like the image of God’s Son.
